Eternal Voice is reaching you from Baru Sahib, the Valley of Divine Peace, where an attempt is being made to translate into practice the ideals of Guru Nanak. The Guru aimed at a new society of men, who would not allow themselves to be tormented with hair splitting theology. On the contrary, the Saadh Sangat would engage in divine meditation and eternal service to spread the ideals of universal brotherhood and divine peace. Such is the new future of Man to be realized in this valley of saints.

Early morning, at Baru Sahib in the presence of the Holy Guru Granth Sahib, young children in white, sing hymns of glory of the Lord. There is a thrill in every soul in this gathering of angels and God's presence is experienced.

While children engage themselves in holy recitations, they are equally committed to their studies under the exceedingly competent and highly committed teachers. The children show excellent results in examinations and bring honour to their institution. They are able to dedicate their mind entirely to their studies because there is no distraction to obstruct the development of the young minds nor to dissipate their energies.

Proper health of the children is ensured by providing them with balanced diet as well as involving them in sports and other exercises including yoga and martial arts.

Sant Attar Singh and Sant Teja Singh had visualized Baru Sahib as a future seat of great learning, a University of Brahm Vidya (Eternal University), in line with the famous centers of learning of Buddhist era, such as Nalanda and Taxila, where renowned scholars of repute came from all over the world.

Baba Iqbal Singh was directed by Sant Teja Singh to fulfil this vision of Sant Attar Singh, the great saint of the twentieth century. Under his guidance and patronage Eternal University is taking shape, where students and scholars will flock together for acquiring a complete and a fulfilling education in various disciplines.

In this direction, The Kalgidhar Trust has already established Akal Hospital, Akal College of Engineering and Technology and a Teachers' Training College. A Nursing College leading to the degree of M.Sc. in Nursing is on its way along with the project of expanding the capacity of Akal Hospital to 250 beds from the present 100 along with introducing the advanced medical facilities. Several other divine educational activities for the betterment of humanity will also be included in the curriculum of the University......
